BOURBON WHISKEY

Smooth. Sophisticated. Unapologetically Ohio.

From the very first sip, Black Diamond lets you know it's not your average Ohio bourbon. The nose hits with a warm welcome; think cherry, fruit, a whole lot of vanilla, chocolate, and just a whisper of caramel. Take a sip, and it only gets better: more vanilla, a fresh hint of mint, mellow oak, and a little spice that sneaks in just right. The finish? Long, smooth, and clean with none of that harsh ethanol bite you might expect. It’s the kind of bourbon that makes you sit back, smile, and pour another.

ABOUT US

Preserving Appalachian History

Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery is part of a bigger revitalization story taking shape across the Appalachian region of Ohio, preserving the history of small, underserved communities. Black Diamond Development strives to identify unique property opportunities that link Craft Spirits and Historic Preservation.

We have the unique opportunity to be located in Nelsonville, Ohio, an historic regional mining center, booming in the 1800’s. Nelsonville grew into a regional mining center with the completion of the Columbus and hocking valley railroad in 1869. rich deposits of coal, iron ore, and clay attracted thousands of people in search of work and prosperity. We are honor this history and are proud to make southeastern Ohio Nelsonville the home of the black diamond brewery and distillery.
